Project Description
Studio One delivered new teaching accommodation for the junior school at Te Ara Whanui Kura Kaupapa Māori, comprising a triple classroom block, a single classroom, and the site works that tie the new spaces into the wider school.
Both buildings were manufactured offsite, an approach that kept construction activity on the operating school site to a minimum and gave the school certainty over programme. The project balanced the practical demands of delivering to a live site with the need for learning spaces that serve the school's community, and the completed works give the junior school room to grow, delivered with the coordination that comes from Studio One's integrated design approach.
