Project Description
Studio One provided architecture and structural engineering for a double classroom block at Rewa Rewa School in Wellington, together with the surrounding deck and hardscape works that connect the new teaching spaces to the life of the school.
The block was manufactured offsite and installed with minimal disruption to the operating school, while the external works were designed in parallel so the whole package landed as one. Designing the building and its engineering under one roof meant the structure, envelope, and external works were resolved together rather than passed between consultancies, keeping the project coordinated, buildable, and true to its design intent from concept through to completion.
