Project Description
Studio One provided architectural and structural engineering delivery services for the Moera Neighbourhood Hub, a community facility for Hutt City Council, working alongside DGSE as design architects. Carrying another practice's design through documentation and delivery is a discipline of its own: it demands respect for the original design intent, rigour in the technical resolution, and clear coordination across the project team.
Studio One's integrated structure meant the architectural documentation and structural engineering developed hand in hand, protecting the design vision while ensuring the building could be consented and constructed without compromise. The completed hub brings local services together for the Moera community, and the project reflects a side of Studio One's capability that matters as much as origination: being a reliable delivery partner who makes other people's designs buildable.
